This is a blue painted 45 by Nichols / W. Murphy. To make sure you are buying an original and not a painted copy, here are a couple things to look at. Painted guns were never plated first. Look at the chipped areas of the paint and be sure there is no chrome plating underneath the paint. Second. The blue 45's from W. Murphy have a wooden grip. Note that the paint is dull, not glossy as the Nichols version. This gun is correct in every way and the original bullets are included. A tough gun to find. Free shipping in the USA.
